A workspace is the shared area for your organisation. Members, knowledge base files, usage, billing, and API keys all belong to the active workspace.

Before inviting members

Set these first:
  • workspace name and slug
  • billing email
  • plan and seat count
  • member roles
  • default assistant
  • any knowledge base files members should be able to use
The workspace owner and admins can invite members.

Roles

Business workspaces usually use owner, admin, and member roles. Owners manage the workspace and billing. Admins manage day-to-day settings, members, and workspace content. Members use the app. Use the least powerful role that lets someone do their job.

Workspace switching

If a user belongs to more than one workspace, they can switch workspaces in the app. The active workspace controls the chat history, knowledge base, usage, and settings they see.
